Before that he was a stereotypical effite villain who did nothing. Ghirahim: Ghirahim was only cool when he revealed his true form. What's he gonna do, shoot lasers? Pit already stole that.īandana Dee: I refuse to even acknowledge this character. He also has the same gimmick as Chibi Robo in that he's just a small robot. Ray MK-2: He looks like one of those cheap knock off Gundams you find in Japanese capsule machines. The point of his game is to collect happy points. Not to mention it has the most boring abilities you could imagine like cleaning and plugging itself in. It is completely void of any character and its entire gimmick is that its small. Yes, I know "evil" versions are a staple in many fighting games, but his inclusion would be a clear case of Sakurai playing favorites instead of trying to make the most diverse and interesting roster possible.Ĭhibi Robo: Chibi Robo looks like something a three year old would draw. Shulk: Heir to the Monado? More like heir to the worst main character design since Vaan in FFXII.Ĭhorus Men: Donkey Kong's final smash called, it wants its gimmick back.ĭark Pit: I can't believe this character actually has a chance of getting in. She barely gets into Mario Party games, and if Nintendo dumps her for Rosalina any chance they get. That's way cooler than a barrel jetpack!ĭaisy: Bob-Ombs are better developed characters than her. FINAL SMASH: Throw crown.ĭixie Kong: What if Diddy Kong was a girl? That is the extent of how much thought was put into the idea of Dixie Kong. His boss fight in DKC has is ridiculously lame. Also his entire motive is to steal bananas. We already have enough heavy brawler characters who are much more imaginative. He is a poor man's Bowser, and one of the most unoriginal bad guys in gaming. Rool: Probably the worst addition you could make to Smash. I'm going to quickly run down a list of desired characters and tell you why they are garbage compared to Takamaru. However, despite all this, Kojima and Sakurai are two of the craziest motherfuckers in the industry, working for two companies known to make incredibly strange decisions, and trying to predict any of their actions is impossible. You might argue that this would make people want to buy other consoles to play MGS on instead of the 3DS and Wii U, but really, if they get excited for Snake in Smash, they already plan on owning a 3DS and Wii U. Snake can actually get away with being hidden, to the point where having him hidden might stir up more publicity for him than having him be revealed in a little pre-launch trailer a la Sonic.īoth parties gain from including Snake, Nintendo shows that it isn't so hostile to third parties by letting him back in, and Konami gains publicity for a game series with a big entry coming out soon. Sonic in Smash 4 was a lock since before the game was first shown, due partially to how requested he was and partially to Nintendo and Sega having a big contract announced right before then. Plus, he's the first third party character to have been in Smash. Being found after being hidden is actually pretty central to his games. If there's any third party that would be an unlockable, it'd be Snake.
